Educational Qualification
Given below details are required by the candidates who apply for this TNTET Recruitment 2022:

Moreover, as per existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11.02.2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TNTET. |
Note:
The candidates not having the prescribed qualifications shall not be eligible for appearing TNTET.
ï‚· A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in
the NCTE Notification amended from time to time shall be eligible for appearing in the TNTET.
ï‚· The candidates should satisfy their eligibility before applying. They should be personally responsible in case they are not eligible to apply as per the eligibility criteria. It is to be noted that, if a candidate has been allowed to appear for TNTET, it does not imply that the eligibility of the candidate has been verified. It does not vest any right to appointment of the candidate after passing the examination.
ï‚· Reservation Policy:
Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as BC, BC(M), MBC / DNC, SC, SC(A), ST and Persons with Disability Candidates.
Age Limit
- The candidates must be minimum of 18 years old. There is no upper age limit.
Application Fees
- The Examination fee is Rs. 500/- for all the candidates except SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability. For SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability Candidates, the examination fee is Rs. 250/-. Since the examination fee is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct Community / Person with Disability category. Once the payment is
made, it will not be refunded.
